Tuesday 18 August 2009

Breakfast (finish 11.20am) - 200g yogurt, an apple and seed mixture.

Lunch (finish 6.40pm) - 140g smoked salmon, a stick of celery and some veggie soup, oil/vinegar, 100g strawberries.

Yay down another 900g today!!

Unfortunately I haven't been able to save any of the money I had planned this "budget" would allow me to. Budget? What budget? I just spent $18 on two pieces of fish!

Monday 17 August 2009

Breakfast (finish 8.35am) - two hardboiled eggs with 110g boiled zucchini (yum!) and an apple.

Lunch (finish 2pm) - 135g grated zucchini with 130 turkey and an apple.

Dinner (finish 9.20pm) - 75g edam, seed mixture, oil/vinegar and 140g boiled zucchini.

I seemed to have swapped from all cauliflower on the side to all zucchini on the side lol. Ah well, it's delicious!

When I went to do dinner tonight, all I wanted was cheese! I don't know why, normally I'm only a cheese-every-so-often person. But tonight, huge hanging for it. Thankfully edam is one of the best cheeses I've tasted. :)

I was hungry pretty much all throughout today. It's probably a combination of going to the gym more often and being a bit stressed out about stuff. Hopefully one will help out the other.

Went to a personal training session AND pilates this evening :)

Sunday 16 August 2009

Ahhhh! I've just realised I didn't post yesterday!

Now I have to remember....

Breakfast (finish ...) - 200g yogurt, a pear, seed mixture.

Lunch (finish...) - wheat wrap with sliced zucchini and capsicum with 130g turkey, an apple.

Dinner (finish midnight) - a grilled and herbed snapper with allowed veggies and a diet coke. Had the oil/vinegar when I got home which is why this meal has such a late finishing time. Oh and two cups of stevia-sweetened tea.

Saturday 15 August 2009

Breakfast (finish 8.55am) - two hardboiled eggs with 110g boiled zucchini and an apple.

Lunch (finish 3.25pm) - 140g smoked salmon with 145g red capsicum and a pear.

Dinner (finish 12.05am) - a snapper fish roasted in herbs and rosemary, and some greens of a salad, seed mixture. Two cups of stevia-sweetened tea.

Was looking forward to the same cheesy veggies stack that I had yesterday. That was awesome! Great craving buster! But, went out for last minute dinner with a friend anyway (much more fun than sitting at home) which is why it technically finished so late - I had dinner out but had to wait until I got home (and remembered) to have the seed mixture.

I went to the gym yesterday and today, and booked in again on Monday. Trying to increase my frequency. I actually thought that going to the gym more would increase my appetite and considering I am already having all the food allowed, that this would just set me up to fail. BUT I wasn't hungry at all after breakfast today! I ate because the clock said it was time but I didn't need it so soon. Ah well, I feel good :)

Friday 14 August 2009

Breakfast (finish 9.35am) - 200g yogurt, 100g kiwi fruit and seed mixture.

Lunch (finish 3.10pm) - 130g smoked salmon on cos and celery salad, an apple.

Dinner (finish 9.05pm) - MmmmMmmm 140g of chunky veggies (zucchini, tomato and garlic), herbed and baked in layers with mountain bread and 75g melted edam throughout. Oil/vinegar. Yum!!

Oh today has been a day where I've been hungry all day and even had a few cravings. I had a dream about eating tons of junk food and maybe those thoughts stuck with me all day. I dunno. How do I make it go away again???

Hungry... hungry... junk food... junk food...

UPDATE: If I don't satisfy my cravings, they just stay around until I do and then I do it to excess. So, I am craving melted cheese over something like a hamburger (which is a no-go on this plan because it's mixing proteins) so I'm going to give melted cheese over some veggies a go. Might smoosh some tomato over it too, in place of tomato sauce. Hopefully that will do it. Or maybe lentil soup? That's thick and luxurious.

OK, dinner decided - see above :)

Thursday 13 August 2009

Breakfast (finish 9.05am) - 200g yogurt, a pear and seed mixture.

Dinner (finish 6pm) - 130g cajun chicken in wheat wrap with 135g grated zucchini, oil/vinegar and an apple.

Well, that's the end of my cajun chicken! Probably time to have something different for lunch for a few days anyway ;)

Oh and I forgot my scales again this morning! Had to eye- ball the yogurt, which I'm no good at. It's a 500g tub and it's wider at the top and thinner at the bottom. Never gonna happen.

Due to a sickie at work today, I didn't get a lunch break and didn't start dinner until 5pm. Urgh. I really really tried to get out early or something but there wasn't much I could do.

Anyway, on a more positive note, you know how I've been trying to will myself into increasing my exercise? Well I'm booked in for two training sessions a week starting tomorrow!

Wednesday 12 August 2009

Breakfast (finish 8.40am) - two hardboiled eggs, 110g cauliflower.

Lunch (finish 2.05pm) - 130g cajun chicken in wheat wrap with 135g grated zucchini, an apple.

Dinner (finish 8.35pm) - 130g turkey with almost half a head of cos, seed mixture and a pear.

Thanks for the congratulations, guys! I'm still pretty chuffed about it :)

So I watched the movie Twilight last night. I know, I know, everyone saw that movie aaaaaaages ago. But I tend not to see boxoffice hits until a few years after their release - so I'm picking up the pace! lol

I thought it was ok, nothing particularly special. I don't know why people raved about it the way they did, but it was ok. That young girl in it though is an amazing actress. Has anyone else watched it? What did you think?

I just did three oracle cards (felt like it hehe) and these are what came up:

Dream Big - Let go of small thught about yourself! See yourself succeeding.
In the past, you may have seen yourself as insignificant. This card asks you to release any thoughts or feelings of inferiority. Truly believe that you are utterly qualified for any endeavour you can dream about!

Pay Attention - Notice repetitious signs and your inner guidance, as this can yield valuable information.
Heaven is giving you important messages, and by drawing this card, you're asked to pay extra attention to them.

Time to Move On - It's time to let go of the old and worn out so that the new can come in.
By drawing this card, you're alerted to the fact that you need to make room for the new by letting go of the old. First, let go emotionally and intellectually. In other words, "quit" or "say goodbye" in your mind and heart.

Well, it's weigh in day today! I'll let everyone know how I go :)

UPDATE: Good news today! I'm down 0.45kg (which is about a pound) which is good but not ecstatic - the good news is we did measurements and I am down 7cm on the bust, 10cm on the waist and 7cm on the hips! Yay!!!!!

Monday 10 August 2009

Breakfast (finish 8.50am) - two hardboiled eggs with 110g cauliflower and an apple.

Lunch (finish 2.25pm) - 130g cajun chicken in a wheat wrap with 135g grated zucchini, also about a medium apple-size of watermelon.

Dinner (finish 8.30pm) - 140g tuna in my oil with 145g red capsicum and cucumber. Seed mixture.

Good day today in all, nothing of particular interest to report. Going over finance stuff, trying to calm the fiance down (he has a tendency to throw the baby out with the bath water when something gets stressful).

I think my fingers are getting smaller, my too-big ring on my middle finger is getting quite loose.

Oh I thought long and hard about going to pilates today, and didn't. Even though I promised everyone I would. I don't quite know what's holding me back.....
